Holiday Celebrations at Niagara-on-the Lake

The holiday season is approaching, and what better place to spend it than Niagara-on-the-Lake?

The candlelight stroll will take place Friday, Dec. 2, starting at the Old Courthouse building located at 26 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. From 6:30 to 9 p.m., take a guided stroll through this historical town. Local choirs and other seasonal entertainment.

A candle sale will also take place to benefit local families or non-profit organizations. You are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for Newark Neighbours.

The Santa Clause Parade runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Dec. 10. Bring the kids to come see Santa and enjoy the other parts of the parade.

McFarland Christmas Celebration!

Join the Garden Club of Niagara and the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake for a tour of the historic McFarland House. From Dec. 2-4, the house will be decorated with lush Georgian Christmas decorations.

To preserve and recreate the historical authenticity of Holiday seasons past, all natural materials from local gardens were used.

Homemade Christmas cookies, rich traditional hot chocolate, and historic mulled apple cider will delight your senses and tempt your palate while you tour the property.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. Tickets cost $6 for adults and $3.90 for children aged 6-12.
